To be trustworthy, I’m not all that traditional with MadCatz products since I’ve by no means bought them before to. I’m attentive of their reputation, though, and like most broadcast I groaned when it was announced that they were producing the authoritative SF4 controllers.

I’ve heard a link of broadcast on additional sites discussion in this area their controllers life DOA or having non-responsive diagonals, but I bought one of these for myself and one for a friend and both work sweet well. I will say that mine got stuck in crouch a modest bit earlier today, but I wiggled the D-pad and it’s been effective fine since.

The D-pad has a splendid feel, and it’s much simpler to pull off some of the complicated motions with this than with the standard PS3 or 360 controller. The D-pad makes all the difference, and this one reminds me a lot of the ancient ASCII fighting pad that I imported for the Dreamcast so many being ago.

I would certainly urge this manufactured goods to fans of the game, but I’m soothe a modest concerned in this area MadCatz’ footstep record and some of the harms additional broadcast seem to be having. This is doubtless all we’re inane to get in the way of fightpads, so I estimate you make do with what you’ve got.

The fightpad is alot best than the fixed PS3 controller for SFIV. Sorry to say the pad isn’t very well made and it ruined with only in this area 2 months. Now I have to waste more cash sending this back to the manufacturer being paid it repaired. Not very pleased since it wasn’t a cheap controller and it only lasted 2 months.

This is an outstanding controller. Very comfortable to hold and all buttons are in simple reach. It is by now impeccably set up for use with the Road Struggle IV & the non-payment pin configuration. Moves requiring quarter, half & full circle schedule are incredibly simple do, thankfulness to the floating digital pad. And they can be done consistently. It comes a with clever Turbo pin which makes font like Chun-Li & E. Honda primarily treacherous.

My only problem with the controller & its floating digital pad is that it may be too sensitive sometimes. For font that require payment attacks or strict up and down schedule of the digital pad for combos, the Dualshock 3/Six-axis controller is in fact simpler to use & more consistent.

If you have PS3 then you by now have the standard controller & I greatly suggest you try out the Struggle Pads to get the most out of this game. It will doubtless come in clever for additional fighting sports meeting as well. I completely be going to to use this pad on Tekken.

Two fightpads from Madcatz were prearranged. This Chun-Li themed one and a Blanka themed one. For whatever reason, this Chun-Li unit is terrible and I’m sending it to Madcatz soon. It austerely doesn’t have the same rejoinder as the Blanka unit and I’ve used both of them for hours on end with both Road Fighter IV and SF2THDR.

This review is for the wireless PS3 version.

If you read all the reviews for this controller, and others like it, you’ll see that it has a dreadful quality come forth.

I first bought the Chun-Li one and returned it with 6 days. It was nearly day 2 that it ongoing screening the come forth that others mentioned… bringing up the rear communication with the dongle. Then the D-pad starts being paid stuck to left. At day 6, the controller just wouldn’t communicate, no matter what I do (exchange array, turn on/off, unplug/plugin dongle, potential cycle PS3… not anything worked. That’s when I returned it.

Since shipping is free, (I have Prime) I bough a Ken one. Well, I’ve only been by it for in this area an hour, and it by now ongoing acting up: bringing up the rear communication with dongle, D-pad being paid stuck (frequently left, sometimes down or up). It looks like this is inane back also.
